I had to say goodbye to my beautiful baby boy on Monday. Jeanne and Steve stayed late so that we could take him from the vets straight to them. When we got there, Steve took my boy from us while Jeanne sat down with us and was so lovely. He was layed in a room that was so peaceful – he looked like he was just snoozing and we were allowed to spend as much time as we needed with him. I requested for him to have my hoody put on him so that when he was cremated, he had a forever cuddle from me and that request was met. My boy was treated with respect and dignity and so were we. Pets at peace really stepped up and went beyond all expectations for my boy and I am forever grateful.
