If I could give more than 5 stars I would *PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ARE PRESSURED BY YOUR VETS TO USE THEIR OUTSOURCING* We went through a traumatic experience and it all happened so fast with our beloved cat. Thankfully a nurse at our vets mentioned that there was a local pet cremation service at whitehaven. Pets At Peace was the perfect send off. For one, they treat every pet with kindness and dignity that they each deserve. Our cat Fatman was laid to rest in a peaceful room beforehand on a cushion with candles and the amount of care afterwards was second to none. Each pet has their own wooden pawprint on the memorial tree, and you are asked if would like to supply a photo for not only the online memorial page of your own pet, but also the memorial wall. I was so emotional when we visited but they put me at ease and understood the grief we were feeling. Nothing is “Sales” like, If you can imagine, it’s the same care a human relative would have. And even though cost doesn’t come into these things, we got paw prints framed, fur collected, chosen casket, an engraved plaque for casket, engraved personalised slate heart sign plaque for our home and a thoughtful hand written card, a packet of forget me not seeds and a certificate for the same price the vets quoted us for just the pleasure of having our cat taken away to be outsourced out of the county and then for us to “collect” him a week leter….. nevermind “what” we wanted to collect him in….
It’s truly worlds apart to use Pets At Peace, can’t thank them enough.
