Sadly, my nanas dog passed away suddenly. It was a complete shock to all of the family – especially my nana who lives on her own in Cumbria. We travelled up to be with her right away. Not being from Cumbria I wasn’t sure where to turn in this situation so I contacted Jeanne from pets at peace. It was late on in the evening and I hadn’t expected a reply but Jeanne was quick to respond and so sympathetic as well as professional. She provided us with all of the information we needed regarding private cremation. We took him to pets at peace where we said our final goodbyes in the farewell room. It was so peaceful and he looked comfortable. His ashes were returned to us quickly and Jeanne sent us some sentimental things along too; paw prints, fur clippings and forget me not seeds to plant in his memory. The empathy and professionalism during this tremendously heartbreaking time made it more bearable and I’m forever grateful. Thank you pets at peace.
