Unfortunately we had to have our much loved Naylor
put to sleep on Wednesday
March 2nd. As we were a long way from home we had no idea where to go,the vet from Millcroft vets was fantastic
and our big lad passed peacefully with us both with him,a phone call to Pets at Peace
followed and within 2 hours of Naylor passing Jeanne and Stephen arrived at our caravan to collect our boy and take him for cremation.
We went to Pets at Peace
later that afternoon to see
Naylor and make arrangements for his cremation, from arriving Jeanne and Stephen
couldn’t
have done more,we were shown into a beautiful room
with soft lights
and candles and Naylor laid out on a blanket, stay as long as you like we were told, after saying goodbye we came out and sat with Jeanne and Stephen. We decided
what we wanted for Naylor’s ashes and arranged to call back the following day to collect Naylor.
When we arrived at Pets at Peace
on Thursday afternoon
we were totally amazed at what was waiting for us,the urns we had chosen
for Naylors Ashes were on a table along with 2 photo frames
of his paw prints,a small jar of his fur,2 scatter tubes of ashes,a packet of forget me not seeds and a beautiful
card from Jeanne and Stephen ,a beautiful handmade and decorated candle was also included. A paw print with Naylor’s name on it was placed
on the memory
tree and his picture placed in the memorial photo gallery.
If you find yourselves in a similar position to ourselves Jeanne and Stephen
are the caring compassionate
people who make this horrible time a little easier to bear. Thank you both for your caring support
and for looking after
our beloved boy so well.
